Armstrong Browning Library

Our own Dr. Robert Collmer provides insights into the works and fascinating lives of the Victorian poets, Robert and Elizabeth Browning as we tour the library on the Baylor University campus with its beautiful stained glass windows.

Cameron Park Zoo – Natural Habitat Environment

Go behind the scenes with the zoo keepers at the Cameron Park Zoo to select areas that are typically off limits to the public.  View displays combining 120 species of indigenous wildlife found along the Brazos River Country from the Gulf of Mexico to its origin in New Mexico

~~~~Lunch at Ninfa’s~~~~
Located in a renovated warehouse at RiverSquare,  Ninfa’s is considered one of the best restaurants in Waco.  Tex-Mex cuisine, authentically prepared, is its claim to fame, and fajitas are a perennial favorite.
 “The Best and Worst Travels”
We stop in Salado to be treated to a trip around the world with author, playwright and thespian, Dr. Raymon Carver.  A graduate of Yale University’s Drama School, Raymon has authored plays and produced Off-Broadway and in Hollywood.  Enjoy an anecdotal exploration of his world travel experiences revealed in his new book.
